a rum old fashioned recipe from our friend @professor.baker

a couple notes from the professor:

- the grated nutmeg is phenomenal; I’ve never tried this with an old-fashioned before. I was hesitant at first, but it turned out great!
- if this is too sweet for you, just add a few more dashes of bitters

Fashionably Late

2 1/4 oz aged rum
1/4 oz Tippleman’s Falernum Syrup @tipplemansbarsyrups
1/2 tsp Royal Rose Organic Saffron Syrup
3-4 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters

Add all ingredients an Old Fashioned glass. Add large cube and stir. Garnish with star anise and grated nutmeg.
